We will share the recipe to make the wild yeast starter in this post. This wild yeast starter can be used in any recipe that calls for “Yeast” - So get ready for some fun!!

What do you need?

- JUST TWO INGREDIENTS! (Hard to believe, right?)

3 tbsp water, 3 tbsp flour, a transparent glass! We need to mix the ingredients in the given ratio:
1 part water: 1 part flour

Steps to follow

Step 1: Add the ingredients to the glass

Step 2: Mix thoroughly

Step 3: Cover the glass with cloth and seal with a rubber band, and leave it undisturbed for 24 hours!

When do we know if the wild-yeast is ready to use?

Where to use this recipe?

This recipe can be used for anything that calls for yeast, and not just bread! Just add twice as much store bought yeast!

Recipe for making “Multi-grain bread”

What do you need?

2 tbsp wild yeast (prepared above), 1 cup maida, 1 cup multigrain flour of your choice, water for kneading.

Step 1: Knead all the above ingredients like normal flour

Step 2: Leave for 12 hours to rise

Step 3: Bake at 400 degree Fahrenheit for 20 minutes!

And there you are! Ready with your bread! :)
